Death has taken away a dedicated Ghanaian who in his own small way quietly tried to control corruption in especially in the transport sector.

Francis Appiah, the Public Relations Officer of the Ghana Committed Drivers Association (GCDA) led a crusade which contributed to the humiliating defeat of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

The vociferous commercial driver reportedly kicked the bucket on Wednesday November 15, 2017.

According to a family source, the Francis Appiah looked very healthy and was telling us of some new projects he intends to embark on.

The source who spoke to Adomonline.com on condition of anonymity noted that, during our conversation, he got a call from a radio station and decided to go outside to grant the interview.

“All of a sudden, we heard him screaming so we rushed outside to see what was happening only to find him on the floor. I heard him complaining of chest pains; he said his heart was beating very fast and could not breath properly” the source said.

He indicated that, the deceased was home with his mother, girlfriend and other family members when the incident occurred.

Francis Appiah was quickly to the C&J Hospital in Sakumono for medical attention.

However, the young man who is a staunch supporter of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) died upon arrival.

It is still unclear who caused the sudden demise of Francis Appiah.

Meanwhile, the body has been deposited at the morgue pending autopsy.
